"You Know What You've Done" (alternatively called "You Know What Youve Done")[1] is a song by Jazmin Bean, released on January 19, 2024. It is the fourth single from their debut studio album, Traumatic Livelihood, and the sixth track on the album.

Background[]

Bean teased the song many times during 2023[2][3] On one of the snippets, Bean announced the song as Traumatic Livelihood's fourth single.[4], and that it would be getting a music video. [5]

On January 13, 2024, Bean posted a new snippet which was played over BTS clip of the video shoot.[6] They also shared a link to pre-save the song, the page had a countdown which was set to end on January 19, 2024.[7]

Soon after, on January 15, 2024, Bean officially announced the song’s release date, January 19, 2024.[8]

Theme[]

The lyrics talk about Bean’s ex-lover, as they wish the worst for them for mistreating them. Bean remembers the times with their ex, but now it only brings bad feelings. Instead of anger and violence, though, Bean says the guilt and karma will be punishment enough.

Bean spoke about the song, stating,

"[It’s] feeling remorseful, revengeful and getting payback on a lover who didn’t take accountability.[9]"
