"Worldwide Torture" is a song by Jazmin Bean, released as their debut single on August 1, 2019. It served as the lead single and title track from their debut EP Worldwide Torture, and it is the first track on both the standard and re-up editions of the EP.

Background[]

As stated by Bean in the interview with tmrw in 2022, they wrote the song during when they were taking one of their math exams in high school.

On July 29, 2019, Bean announced the song as the lead single from Worldwide Torture and its music video along with the release date [1].

Theme[]

The song presents aggressive and raw lyrics, highlighting the protagonist who belittles, humiliates, and attacks other people in a sense of suportity. Overall, the song explores the protagonist's superiority and their ability to humiliate those they deem inferior.

  • The song was the first song Bean wrote, while "War Zone Urchin" was the first song they recorded.
  • The song is introduction was inspired by Disneyland.
  • On 05x04 of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula, "Gods of Death (Part 1)", the contestants up for extermination, Jay Kay and Jarvis Hammer, were asked to perform a lip-sync to the song.[2]
    • Out of the two, Jay Kay ended up coming out as the winner.
    • Bean's friend, HoSo Terra Toma, also appeared on the fourth season and all-stars season of the show.
