They also said that they didn't want to quote "trauma-bond" with their fans by making more songs based off their traumatic experiences.[2] They also mentioned two songs intended for the project, being "Cautionary Tale" and a love song.
In a interview with MELODIC Magazine, one day after, they responded to a interviewers question on if the early version of Traumatic Livelihood would be released one day, in which Bean replied that they will keep it in the "vault" but that they would like to "open up the doors" one day. They also stated in that same interview they were working towards making another album or EP.
On September 20, 2024, on Twitter, Bean asked their fans "What's y'all opinions on 10 song albums over longer albums" because they are "Kind of in the mood to do a shorter album".[3]

Bean responded to a fan on November 7, 2024, asking them if they would release the song, which Bean stated that the upcoming project might take the form of an EP, with the main instrument being a piano.
On November 13, 2024, Bean mentioned that they recorded another song with Traynor and Rendle Traynor through their discord server. They then shared a snippet of them playing the song "Summer" later that same date, and stated that they only want to use real instruments for the upcoming project.
