"R U Looking 4 Me Now" is a song by Jazmin Bean released on as a single July 2, 2021. It was meant to be the lead single of the early version of Traumatic Livelihood, however, the project was revised and the song was not reused.

Background[]

The song was officially announced on June 30, 2021 in an Instagram post where a snippet of the track was also shared. [1] Bean promoted the track with many live rehearsals and snippets before it's official release.

Theme[]

Bean revealed through an Instagram post and a tweet that it is about taking back the power from your abusers and being able to accept that the abusers can have your past self, and even though mourning over your past self, you move forward. [2]
