HLTBOAD is the upcoming second studio album by Jazmin Bean, recorded from 2023 to the present times. It is planned to be released sometime in the near future, likely sometime in 2026.
Since 2023, Bean has teased their possible upcoming sophomore studio album. Initially a love themed 'sexy' album, Bean transformed the record into a project based in acoustic pop and real instruments.

Initial concept, love themed and 'sexy' album[]
Starting from 2023, Bean teased a possible second album. In a live stream, Bean stated that they considered the song "Disneyland Dad" for their possible second album, after scrapping it from Traumatic Livelihood.
In 2024, after Bean scrapped the deluxe edition of their debut album, they mentioned in an interview from August 28, 2024 that they wanted to make songs about feeling 'sexy' and falling in love, discarding what they described as "trauma-bumping" to fans. The then-recently recorded song's "Infinity Bliss" and "Cautionary Tale" were mentioned in the interview.[1]
Following the interview, Bean continued recording for this hypothetical album. However, while creating this album, Bean sought out to create an EP with real instrumentals in an acoustic style, and the concept was abandoned.
Revision[]
In a interview with MELODIC Magazine, Bean answered a question relating to if the initial conception of Traumatic Livelihood would be released one day, in which Bean replied that they will keep it in the "vault" but that they would like to "open up the doors" one day, possibly showing interest in mimicking the mood of that album. They also stated in that same interview they were working towards making another album or EP.
On September 20, 2024, Bean first showed interest in making a shorter project, asking if their fans would be fine with them releasing a ten-track album, unlike their debut which had fourteen.[2]
On November 6, 2024, Bean posted through Twitter two pictures of them in their bedroom recording a song with Dante Traynor and Gamaliel Rendle Traynor. They posted posted a snippet of the song they recorded, "Haunt Me", the same day, and later revealed that they were heavily interested in making a EP based in piano, although they mentioned that it was only an idea.
Bean would go on a small hiatus from social media lasting three months, coming back in May of 2025. When coming back to social media, Bean revealed more information on the project, stating that they were still perfecting it and hadn't turned in the songs to their label, and that they planned to "not take too long" to complete the record. It was also shown that they were staying in Si Racha, Thailand while the project was being recording. They eventually confirmed the initials of the album and its status as their second studio album.
