"Counting Violets" (erroneously referred to as "Hide and Seek") is an unreleased song by Jazmin Bean. It was intended to be on the early version of Traumatic Livelihood, however, the project was revised. It was later reused for the final version of the album but was ultimately removed.[1]

Theme[]
The song seems to use counting the flower violet and them growing as a metaphor for the theme. The narrator sees "buds" of violets growing and seems to be trying to count them. In the chorus they are shown trying to calm themselves down and tell themselves that everything will be okay by placing their hands on their face.
